2. Services Provided
Movin-n-Groovin offers moving, junk removal, and specialty moving services. The scope of work, including the pickup, transport, and delivery of goods, will be agreed upon prior to service. Any additional services requested on-site may incur extra charges.
3. Booking & Cancellations
• All bookings must be scheduled in advance and confirmed via email, phone, or our online system.
• A deposit may be required to secure your moving date.
• Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled service may be subject to a cancellation fee.
• Rescheduling is allowed based on availability but must be requested at least 48 hours in advance.
4. Pricing & Payments
• Our pricing is based on factors such as service type, distance, volume, labor, and any additional services requested.
• A quote provided by Movin-n-Groovin is an estimate and may be subject to change based on actual work performed.
• Full payment is required upon service completion unless otherwise agreed.
• We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and electronic payments.
5. Customer Responsibilities
• Customers must provide accurate details about the items being moved or removed, including size, weight, and special handling requirements.
• Any items requiring disassembly must be disclosed in advance.
• Customers must ensure clear and safe access for our crew at both pickup and delivery locations.
• Any delays caused by the customer (e.g., incomplete packing, lack of access) may result in additional charges.
6. Liability & Damage Claims
Movin-n-Groovin takes great care in handling your belongings. However, we are not liable for:
• Pre-existing damage to items.
• Damage resulting from improper packing by the customer.
• Delays due to weather, traffic, or unforeseen circumstances.
• If any damage occurs during the move, customers must report it within 48 hours of service completion. Claims submitted after this period may not be honored.
• Certain high-value or fragile items may require special handling or additional insurance coverage.
7. Prohibited Items
We do not transport or remove hazardous materials, including but not limited to:
• Flammable liquids
• Explosives
• Chemicals
• Perishable food items
• Illegal substances
If prohibited items are discovered, we reserve the right to refuse service or impose additional handling fees.
8. Junk Removal Policy
• We reserve the right to decline the removal of items that violate local disposal regulations.
• Customers are responsible for identifying any hazardous or restricted materials before pickup.
• All junk removal services are final—once removed, items cannot be returned.
9. Delays & Unforeseen Circumstances
While we strive to adhere to scheduled times, delays may occur due to weather, traffic, mechanical issues, or other unforeseen factors. We will communicate any delays promptly, but we are not liable for costs incurred due to scheduling changes beyond our control.
10. Termination of Service
Movin-n-Groovin reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service in the following cases:
• Unsafe working conditions (e.g., aggressive pets, hazardous environments).
• Verbal abuse or inappropriate behavior toward our staff.
• Misrepresentation of service requirements.
11. Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Any details shared with Movin-n-Groovin will be used solely for service coordination and will not be sold or shared with third parties.
